Gate Guard Position
The Gate Guard is primarily responsible to perform essential service controlling access to property by employees and visitors, and making sure that employees and visitors being escorted adhere to the rules of the area and remain in the areas that they are authorized to access. The Gate Guard will ensure positive control of all approved but uncleared individuals – from verification of identify upon arrival at the facility to personally escorting them within the facility and ensuring they exit appropriately. The Escort does not act in the capacity of a law enforcement officer and has no arrest or apprehension powers. Any violation of FAA and TSA rules & regulations will be reported immediately to the on-site local law enforcement authority. A majority of work is performed outdoors on private property.
Requirement: Minimum High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 21 years of age. U.S. Citizenship Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a badge which includes a Homeland Security Background Screening. Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience preferred. (Honorable Discharge if applicable) Honorably discharged (If Applicable). MUST BE ABLETO WORK OUTDOORS IN MOST WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Truck Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator Position
The Truck Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator is primarily responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner. Handles moderately complex work activities using heavy equipment which may include trucks, sweepers and other pieces of equipment. Responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and securing all equipment as directed by legislation, policies and procedures. Operates equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. Performs daily safety and maintenance checks. Cleans equipment as scheduled and/or required. Maintains the equipment and advises supervisor of any requirement for maintenance or repairs. Uses the heavy equipment for its intended purpose with little or no assistance.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
One (1) year of experience operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, dozers, and graders. Must have proficient knowledge of truck and equipment safety. Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques. Experienced in equipment cleaning and standards and procedures.Must have the ability to ability to read, and write to record activities and maintain daily records. Must have ability to work independently or as a team member successfully. Must possess a Commercial Drivers License with valid medical card at time of application.
