Brenda Brown is the founder of Patterson-Brown & Associates which was launched in 2013. After a successful 11 year career in the aviation and governmental industries Ms. Brown had developed specialized skills that would enhance other businesses. PBA is a minority woman owned small professional services firm based in Augusta, Georgia. Established initially as a contract compliance consulting firm, but quickly expanded into total management solutions. These solutions include contract compliance, taxes, project managing, business development, staff augmentation, and construction training. We offer our clients the full package.

Brenda Brown is President/CEO of Patterson-Brown & Associates in Augusta, GA. Her varied career includes accounting, finance, marketing, business diversity, business development, airport development, contract compliance, public outreach, program management and customer service.
She currently effectively manages several on-going projects for Patterson-Brown & Associates to include scheduling, planning, document control, monitoring, meeting preparation, project planning, and onsite inspections.
Ms. Brown served as Financial Program Manager and DBE Liaison Officer with Augusta Regional Airport for over 11 years, administering the airport’s DBE Program as regulated by 49 CFR part 26. During her tenure with Augusta Regional Airport, Mrs. Brown monitored and tracked several projects. Notable projects included a $32 million Terminal Expansion, $15 million Runway Expansion, and $20 million Fixed Based Operations Terminal. Typical assignments included certification assistance, outreach, federal reporting, goal setting, program management, airport property development, contract compliance, Davis Bacon Wage monitoring, Prevailing Wage Determination, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program development.
Ms. Brown is currently serving as lead consultant along with Skanska USA on Augusta Public Transit Bus Operations and Maintenance Facility’s $18 million construction project providing DBE & Davis Bacon Wage Compliance administration. She is also currently spearheading an initiative to provide business development as well as employment training to small, minority, and women owned businesses/individuals through a partnership with Augusta Technical College.
She has a Master of Business Administration Degree from Southern Wesleyan University. Ms. Brown is also a proud Alumni of Augusta University (formerly Augusta State University) graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. In addition, she has a variety of certifications to include Morgan State University Master Compliance Administrator as well as Georgia Academy for Economic Development in Regional Economic & Leadership Development.
